Leonie & Shane Wedding...




As a photographer we rely on using our images to promote our business on social media. Every now and then we get a client who is not happy to have their images used for promotional purposes. It is so important to acknowledge their wishes , no matter how much you want to share the amazing photos that were taken to celebrate their special day, no matter how breathtaking the images are, how emotional and fun. we must respect these wishes.

The image below is the only image that we are able to use from Leonie & Shane's wedding. It was a small intimate wedding, with close family and friends. A wonderful afternoon of fun and laughter.

Any hopes of a beach ceremony and photos taken on a balmy summer afternoon were shattered when Cyclone Debbie arrived a few hours before the wedding ceremony..

Leonie & Shane had put some contingency plans in place a few days before and had changed the ceremony to be inside at a local hotel, this didn't stop the guests from having a great time.

Camera Club Results -Angela

Every month at Camera Club we have a set subject and an open category. The set subject is designed to challenge us and get us to try out different ways of using our camera. September's set subject was Macro Photography, an independant judge attends our evening and scores our entries and gives us invaluable feedback designed to help us improve our skills. The scoring is done as follows     Honours                                                      Highly Commended                                                      Merit                                                      Entry Level The judging is done on competition standards and is quite daunting when your image is up on the stand being scrutinised.
