Bride of the Year 2014 charity event..

We have been supporting this annual charity event for the past 4 years. Organised by local florists Designer Flowers the Bride of the Year is a great opportunity for brides to wear their wedding dresses again and at the same time raise money for Surf Lifesaving and for Bellyful ( an organisation that helps families and mums  who are in need of help before and after giving birth) both very deserving organisations.

This year saw a total of 22 brides walk the catwalk in front of the judges and friends and family.

MUMS... So much can change in just one year. Don't forget to capture your 'TWEEN.' Camera Club Results -Angela

Every month at Camera Club we have a set subject and an open category. The set subject is designed to challenge us and get us to try out different ways of using our camera. September's set subject was Macro Photography, an independant judge attends our evening and scores our entries and gives us invaluable feedback designed to help us improve our skills. The scoring is done as follows     Honours                                                      Highly Commended                                                      Merit                                                      Entry Level The judging is done on competition standards and is quite daunting when your image is up on the stand being scrutinised.
