The teenage years are such an important part of the journey to adulthood. So often we forget about the importance of photographing these years. When our children are born, and in those first few years we spend countless hours taking photos, or getting those all important milestones captured by a professional photographer. Once our children start school, and especially as they are getting older those important milestones are not captured, often leaving us with only those studio portrait shots, or class photos. I love photographing teens, they are so much fun, and are so used to taking photos of themselves with their friends with their phones that they are quite natural in front of the camera A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to photograph sixteen year old Tyler. The last time I photographed her was two years ago, and in that time she has grown into a beautiful young lady, full of fun and very independent.
